Josefine Parker also writes and performs under the name Voyager. Her writings and performances ground sublime and abject aspects of transness through nature and the surreal. Josefine’s writing has appeared in Mergoat Mag, Fifth Estate, RFD, and her self-published zines. She has been awarded a grant by the Leeway Foundation. Josefine is at work on a novel and other short stories.

A white, Slavic-American trans woman from Baltimore, Josefine lives rurally in Middle Tennessee. This mountainous region is temperate deciduous rainforest and occupied hunting territory of Southeastern Woodlands nations and tribes, including the Mvskoke (Creek), Uchi, and Tsalagi (Cherokee).
